Sign-In Sheet Template

A printable sign-in sheet: title it, pick your columns and row count, print. Visitor and attendee names belong on your paper, not a template site's server.

Fill in — the document updates live

Private by construction. The document is assembled by this page's JavaScript as you type. Names, prices, and photos never leave your machine, and the page keeps working with the network unplugged. Printing uses your browser's own print dialog — choose "Save as PDF" there to get a file.

Every sign-in sheet is the same three decisions — what it's for, which columns, how many rows — so this page asks exactly those and rules the table for you: name, an optional custom column for company or email, time in, time out, signature. Set the row count to fit your event and print as many pages as the door needs. It's worth remembering what a sign-in sheet actually is: a list of real people's names and signatures. That list should exist on your clipboard and nowhere else, which is why this page builds it in your browser and transmits nothing.

Questions this template gets asked

What columns should a sign-in sheet have?

Name and signature are the spine; time in and time out matter for visitor logs and safety rosters; the custom column covers the one extra thing your context needs - company for a lobby, email for a workshop, badge number for a site. More columns than that and nobody fills them in.

How many rows fit on a page?

About 14 at a comfortable writing height, which is this sheet's default. You can set up to 40 for a denser log, but cramped rows produce illegible signatures - for big events, print more pages instead and use the page-of-page line in the footer.

Can I reuse the same sheet every week?

Yes - leave the date field blank, print a stack, and write the date by hand each time. Or choose Save as PDF in the print dialog once and print from that file whenever you need it.

Why does it matter where a sign-in sheet is made?

Because the finished sheet is a roster of names, times, and signatures. Templates that make you type attendee details into a web form put that roster in someone else's database; this one builds in your browser, so the only copy is the paper one.

Is this sign-in sheet template free and printable?

Yes - free, no account, no watermark, sized for Letter/A4. Fill in the title, print, clipboard.
